Hey, I'm Moses.

A full-stack engineer obsessed with the details from database indexes to the micro-interactions that make a product feel alive.

I build products that scale, teams that ship, and experiences that people remember. Three years in, still learning something new every week.

My story

I didn’t start in tech — I started by watching my brother code. That curiosity led me to explore HTML and CSS, and I quickly became fascinated by how code could bring ideas to life. A year later, I got my first laptop and committed fully to learning web development.

I trained through FreeCodeCamp and later enrolled in AltSchool Africa’s School of Engineering, where I built multiple projects and strengthened my fundamentals. Before completing the program, I was already working with React, JavaScript, and Vue, and developed a real-time chat application for my capstone project.

My first professional role came at Crystalveey, where I contributed to the development of over five production websites. That experience strengthened my ability to ship real-world products, manage multiple projects, and deliver consistently at scale. I also gained international exposure through a frontend internship with a UK-based company.

In 2025, I transitioned fully into freelancing as a Replit Expert — a move that accelerated my growth significantly. Today, I’ve worked with 40+ clients across five countries, building scalable products, integrating complex systems, and turning ideas into production-ready software.

Journey into Software Engineering

Self-Driven Learning

Started learning web development through FreeCodeCamp after discovering programming through my brother. Built early projects and developed a strong passion for software engineering.

How I work

Principles that guide every line of code I write.

Craft over speed

I write code I'm proud of. Clean abstractions, thoughtful naming, and tests that document intent — because software you can reason about ships faster in the long run.

Systems thinking

Every feature lives inside a system. I design for the edges, the failures, and the maintenance burden two years from now, not just today's happy path.

Bias for shipping

Perfection is the enemy of done. I break big ideas into small deployable increments, get real feedback fast, and iterate relentlessly.

People first

Software is ultimately for humans. Whether it's the end user's experience or a teammate's code review, empathy drives every decision I make.

Let's build something great.
